Our away game to Cambuslang Rangers returned one point from a creditable 1-1 draw. A late strike and first goal of the season for defender and Cumbernauld resident David Marsh was enough to give United a well deserved share of the points and probably ended Cambuslang's promotion chances.
This Saturday United play one of their most important fixtures of the season. At home to Vale of Leven the visitors have put together a fine run of results and a win at Guys Meadow could launch them into the promotion battle. However I am sure John Queen's troops are in no mood to surrender ground to any potential League challengers. With United having narrowly taken the three points in the first encounter with the Vale earlier in the season it is shaping up to be a classic encounter on Saturday. KICK OFF AT GUYS MEADOW IS 2.00pm
